Our mission

Our mission is to promote sustainable resource use by making Nexus research and innovations accessible to local communities, bridging the gap between science, real-world applications, and the people they impact.

Capacity-Building Approach

Our capacity-building focuses on the end-user. We've worked with stakeholders in four African countries to create materials tailored to local needs and challenges.

By co-developing solutions, we foster a sense of ownership and empowerment for individuals, organisations, and communities. This collaborative approach strengthens local involvement and supports the growth of current and future African innovations.

The Academy

The ONEPlanET Academy is a free e-learning platform that introduces the key concepts, applications, and socio-economic aspects of the WEF-Nexus to learners across policy, research, industry, civil society, and the general public.

Our goal is to equip participants with the tools and skills needed to contribute effectively to sustainable development in their own communities and fields of expertise.
